7 "American Idol" Winners: Where Are They Now?




15 seasons of American Idol have come and gone. As an audience, we watched new judges filter in and out of the show, which was never really the same after Simon left. We also followed (some) very successful winners as they went on to have larger-than-life careers. Here’s all your favorite winners and where they are now!

1. 17-year-old Scotty McCreery’s deep country twang had hearts throbbing all over the country when he won season 10.


What were you doing at 17? I wish I was this successful!




Today he’s still stealing hearts as he’s working on his third studio album while on tour… oh and attending North Carolina State University. 


College boy, anyone?











2. Jordin Sparks became the youngest winner of Idol‘s sixth season in 2005.






She went on to have several Billboard Hot 100 Hits, a headlining tour, and several television appearances…






3. Taylor Hicks won season five of Idol and became our favorite quirky 29-year-old with a head full of gray hair.

Can Your Ex Tell The Difference Between Adele Lyrics And Drunk Texts? This Girl Found Out!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
