People Can"t Agree On The Answer To This Incredibly Simple Equation

The latest problem to makes its way around the internet is incredibly simple but has tons of people arguing about the actual answer. Do you have what it takes to set everyone straight on the correct answer?

Here’s the equation for you. 


The clue given is pretty straightforward. The bat and the ball add up to $1.10, but the bat has to be $1 more than the ball. What are the individual values of the bat and the ball?




Well, that looks pretty easy, right?


There are only two things in the equation!











Right off the bat (hehe), it looks like the bat is worth $1 and the ball is worth 10 cents, right? 


It seems like a lot of people are ignoring that crucial other clue, the baseball bat has to be valued a full dollar more than the ball, not be valued at a dollar. 




Okay, so maybe we are going to need to think a bit.
