Couple Adopts "Saddest Cat" In The World And He Transformed In Just One Hour

Sometimes there is just no reason to smile. No matter how hard you try, you can’t find the strength in yourself. Animals experience this too —  especially when they have been beaten down and were never shown love. A cat was found with every reason to be sad and he was nicknamed the “saddest cat” in the world. But then he was given every reason to smile when someone with so much love to give helped him transform into the kitty he was always meant to be. It may be hard to smile sometimes, but being loved is always a good reason.

BenBen was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter.

The poor kitty had a crushed spine, several deep lacerations, and a cauliflower ear.

It’s believed that he was attacked by an animal while out in the world.

He also has excess skin on his face, giving him such a sad look.

He was deemed un-adoptable after a foster family returned him to the shelter due to his medical needs.

The vet said he’d never walk again and would have to be on pain meds the rest for his life.

He was scheduled to be put down.

At the last minute, a woman who works for the vet clinic swooped in.
