Why Muhammad Ali"s Star Is On A Wall And Not The Sidewalk

Muhammad Ali was one of the most well-known boxers and sports figures of our time. He was also known as an actor, writer, activist, and musician with two Grammy Award nominations. There’s no doubt that he lived a long and fulfilling life. It was announced in 2016 that he had passed away at 74 years old from septic shock. The world mourned his loss and continues to remember his contributions to society. What a lot of fans don’t know about Muhammad is that he has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but is actually the only person to have it hanging on a wall instead of on the sidewalk. Read on to find out why he wanted it this way!

Muhammad Ali is best known for his history as a champion boxer.

He is also known as an activist, and he often performed his spoken word poetry while trash talking his opponents in the ring.

He actually released an album of his spoken word poetry that earned him a Grammy nomination.

The record was titled The Adventures of Ali and His Gang vs. Mr. Tooth Decay.

Now, when it comes to getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there are some pretty strict rules that need to be followed.

16 Times Getting Drunk Really Paid Off

The worst thing about getting drunk is pretty much any decision you make while drunk.  But once in a while you get lucky and by some fluke, a messy night takes a turn for the better.   Maybe you discover a cool talent or go on an amazing drunk adventure. More likely, you discover a edible-looking hot dog lying on the sidewalk calling to you.  But whatever your drunk win is, it creates an experience so magical that alcohol-soaked you feels like the only person in the world… even though  you probably don’t remember a thing about it the next morning.  1. Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!

If knowledge is power, then I am Jon Snow and I’ve just been stabbed to death…in the snow…and I know nothing…and I also have no power because I’m dying in the snow. Okay, you get it.   Here are a bunch of things that you probably never knew, but after reading this you will. And then maybe you’ll come back to life next season or something. Cool! 1. Fire has no shadow But it makes shadows… 2. Chewing gum while cutting onions  Prevents you from bawling your eyes out while you make pasta  3. It’s not Fun-guy It’s Fun-jy. Which is way less fun.  4. The Tostitos logo is two people sharing chips and salsa Weird. I hate sharing my Tostitos.
